no work. day off.

March 17, 2008

i was expecting to have a lot of photoshop work to do today, but turns out i wont be getting the files until tomorrow.
so i set out to do some portraits today, but no one ive wanted to photograph is available (or returning my calls). its frustrating. the light outside is amazing. and all i want to do is take someone’s photo.  when you are photographing a landscape, its there when you want it. if you dont like the light today, you can go back tomorrow, or the next day. photographing people, at least the way i prefer to do it. you have to rely on them. and while that part can make it all the more interesting, it is still pretty darn frustrating.

i found this behind the scenes video of a gregory crewdson shoot. this guy is a master of production. big budget, film crews, actors, models, etc.
